Pride Health Clinic proudly offers Dermal Filler.  Dermal Filler is an FDA approved product that features the consistency of a smooth gel and is composed of pure hyaluronic acid that is naturally produced by the human body. There are many areas that filler can be used. If you do not see an area listed, please ask our injectors. 

Get Plump Lips With Our Premium Lip Fillers

We currently use JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC. This filler is designed to be used in the lips and should last for up to 1 year. While we want everyone to get their lips done with us, if you are going elsewhere, be sure to ask what brand they use. Some brands do not last as long as others.

Most people choses 1mL of lip filler for their first treatment. This allows the injector to use 0.5mL on both lips. If you have a larger bottom lip and just want the top lip done, then we would recommend doing the 0.55mL syringe.

We can schedule a follow up after 2 weeks. If you need more filler, we can add more.

Downtime:  Expect your lips to be stiff/sore for a few days. Lips will not be completely healed for 2 weeks. Do not schedule lips if you have an event in less than 2 weeks.

Facial Filler For A More Youthful Appearance

As we age, we naturally lose the volume of our facial fat pads. This causes our face to look older and causes sagging or drooping of the skin. Using filler can restore the look of natural fat pad loss. The following fillers are used at Pride Health Clinic. These fillers will last up to 2+ years.If you are interested in a different product, please let us know. We can always get in different brands.

Jawline:

JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC injectable gel is for deep injection to improve moderate to severe loss of jawline definition in adults over the age of 21.

Pricing: $600 per syringe

Cheeks: 

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC injectable gel is for deep injection in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss and for augmentation of the chin region to improve the chin profile in adults over 21. Most people will want 1 syringe per side

Pricing: $600 per 1mL syringe

Nasolabial Folds and Facial Wrinkles:

JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC, and JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC injectable gels are for injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC injectable gel is for adults over 21.

Pricing: $600 per 1mL syringe

Perioral Lines/ Lips/ Undereye Hollows:

JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and correction of perioral lines, and for injection into the undereye hollows to improve the appearance of undereye hollows in adults over the age of 21.

$400 per 0.55mL syringe

In order to minimize the risk of possible side effect and complications, please follow these steps:

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:

• Do NOT consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising)

• Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications, if possible for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.

• Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event which you may be attending, such as a wedding or a vacation. Results from the Dermal Filler and Botulinum Toxin A injections will take approximately 4 to 14 days to appear. Also bruising and swelling may be apparent in that time period. 

• Discontinue Retin-A 2 days before and 2 days after treatment.

• Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated.

• Take Tylenol® (if not contraindicated) 1 hour prior to your appointment to help with any discomfort you may have, if you have concerns about discomfort.

• If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, make sure you inform the doctor that you have made your appointment with, one week prior to your appointment; this will allow us adequate time to prescribe a medication to prevent an outbreak.

• Sunburn skin is difficult to treat so avoid exposure to the sun.

• Come to your appointment with a clean face. **This means NO MAKEUP or MOISTURIZER**

• Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area.

• Be sure to have a good meal, including food and drink before your procedure. This will decrease the chances of becoming lightheaded during your treatment.

• You are not a candidate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Avoid dental procedures (including cleaning) 2 weeks pre filler and 2 weeks post filler

• Bruising and swelling will be worse for the first 24-48 hours after you receive your dermal filler injections. Refrain from exercising for the remainder of the day following your injection(s). You may want to refrain from going to any special events during this time.
